My passion and general love for business has lead me to further my studies and complete a one year high certificate course in Business Management and a three year degree in Entrepreneurship.

  • Accounting for the store's finances by banking the store's daily cash, balancing cash, card and EFT transactions on the system daily (known as completing Day Ends).
  • Manually capturing customer information onto the system, then scan and upload customer documentation onto the server.
  • Checking that customer documents are legit, complete, and comply with company policies and procedure.
  • Logging calls for faulty equipment, system technical issues and staff logins
  • Ensuring that the store's legal papers are properly filed(done manually) and placed in the store, i.e trading license, ICASA poster, health and occupational safety certificate and poster, labour relations poster, and second-hand goods trading license and certificate
  • Filing, i.e manually filling meeting minutes, daily stock count, leave applications, employee contracts, written warnings, signed and updated company policies.
  • Sending an excel spreadsheet report of all upgrades & contracts taken up and no taken up, total customers vetted for newlines, and total customers declined for new lines to regional manager.
  • Ensuring that the store first aid kit is intact, up-to-date and accessible.
  • Attending to customer calls, queries, inquiries and WhatsApp messages.
  • Receiving stock from suppliers and manually booking it on the system
  • Merchandising stock, i.e checking and returning damaged, old, and non selling stock back to suppliers.
