- Eskom Expo for Young Scientists, a competition for scholars who create science projects, I was one of the judges, and it was held at the Missionvale Campus at the University - Cheshire Summerstrand Home, based in Summerstrand, for people living with disabilities I helped with feeding, making beds, and cleaning the kitchen - NMU Melodi Cafeteria, I helped with the preparing of student meals - NMU University Shop sells University branded items, and I helped with stocktaking - Urban Run, I was a race marshal and had to make sure that the runners kept to the demarcated route

- Attended court with counsel where I observed matters such as Rescission, Emolument Attachment Orders, Garnishee orders, etc
- I learnt a lot about how technical court procedure is, how file processing works and how magistrates are addressed
- I assisted with office administration using Microsoft Excel to store information and make calculations, saw how the billing system works, and learnt how important it is to keep a file updated as well as ensuring that it is numbered correctly, as I had to look for certain files.
