Supporting site management in achieving EHS performance.

Drive the implementation of EHS policy in the field according to the Alstom, Region, and Country-Cluster guidelines and targets, and the improvement of EHS results at the site.

Advising, helping, coaching & supporting operational management in the EHS actions implementation to reach Alstom EHS objectives. Preparing the local yearly EHS plan consistent with Alstom strategy and objectives. Mobilizing and coordinating with others to meet those objectives and deploy the plan. Monitorong the right deployment of the plan.

Ensuring EHS Risk Assessments are done & appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Site.

Preparing, implementing and maintaining emergency plans at Site level.

Ensuring activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas.

Full authority to stop any operational activity resulting in an immediate high risk to People or the Environment.

Develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools applicable to the Site specific for EHS Management System in line with Transport & Country/Cluster EHS Management System

Ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP), Transport Operational Performance in Environment, Transport Key processes) are deployed at Site level.

EHS Compliance

Monitor compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements & propose actions to correct any gap

Ensure that Accidents/Incidents are first prevented, and when occurring, reported, recorded, investigated and analyzed. Establish and communicate Return of Experience (REX) reports in case of severe or potentially severe accidents. Ensure Alstom EHS call for actions are deployed at site level.

Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports. Feed EHS reporting system in line with Group reporting requirements. Is accountable for data quality of the Site.
