I am a passionate and talented individual with over 15 years’ experience in the Safety, Health, Environmental and Occupational Hygiene Fields. I hold a degree in Environmental Health from Free State University of Technology and BCom: Risk Management at Da Vinci Institute.

My vast and extensive industry experience includes construction, electrical infrastructure (over headlines, substation and renewable energy), mining (open cast and underground), smelter plants, Platinum process plants and food manufacturing industry (Coca Cola). I have been involved in translating strategic objectives to stakeholders ranging from junior to senior manager levels.

Furthermore, I have managed, mentored and developed Occupational Hygiene Assistants.

Moreover, I have added tremendous value to Consolidated Power Projects through implementing and co-ordinating their occupational hygiene programme and Medical Surveillance Programme. I am also registered with SAIOH as Occupational Hygiene Hygienist and SACPMP as Construction Health and Safety Manager. I am also a member of SACESHA and MVS ( Mine Ventilation Society)

I have successfully implemented and audited SHEQ (Safety Health, Environmental & Quality) Integrated Management Systems (IMS) including BS OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Additionally, I have vast experience in tendering processes, project planning, execution and close-out of electrical infrastructure development projects in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and Malawi. I have also managed programmes for a variety of renewable energy projects.
