With 13 years of experience as a Planning Superintendent and Maintenance Senior Planning Coordinator, I specialize in maintenance processes within asset management and SAP system projects. As a Work Management (Planning) Superintendent and Reliability Engineer at Anglo-American, I implement and sustain mine work management processes, overseeing metrics, programs, systems, and master data governance. In my role, I lead a team of 4 Senior Technical Planners, 5 Schedulers, 1 Resource Coordinator, and 4 Planner Administrators, managing SAP systems across business units. My key responsibilities include master data conversion, cleansing, management, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) while training maintenance personnel on new systems. This ensures smooth transitions during system upgrades or new implementations. As a Rio Tinto Asset Management Trainer (Facilitator), I have successfully facilitated asset management and shutdown modules for over 30 trainees, embedding best practices in maintenance planning and work management. In addition, my 7 years as an Artisan, coupled with proficiency in 1SAP, GSAP, Primavera, and Microsoft Office, enable me to streamline operations and present detailed KPIs and PIs for continuous performance improvement. Throughout my career, I’ve also worked as a Lecturer, Facilitator, Coach, and Workshop Supervisor at Umfolozi Training Centre, further solidifying my role in education and system implementation. My short-term goal is to advance to Manager in Asset Management, Planning, and Reliability, with a long-term ambition to become a General Manager in Asset Management.
