As a dedicated individual that seeks to make a difference in our diverse world, I really have this ambition of wanting to see it through education. Through learning comes knowledge and with knowledge comes skill combined with talent. I am a proud and passionate educator who loves teaching isiXhosa hence I did it for 30 years. I am one of the few who still want to uphold values and cultures of our diverse country and my role is to do it through teaching isiXhosa.

- I was the pioneer educator who assisted the Curriculum Advisor in running workshops through the new methodology NCS.
- Completed CAPS training workshops.
- Appointed as a Marker for the NCS Grade 12 in 2000 in the IsiXhosa Home Language department.
- Appointed as a Senior Maker from 2007 - 2008 and again from 2020 - 2023 in the IsiXhosa Home Language department.
- Appointed as an Acting Head of Department in the IsiXhosa department from 2006 - 2010 and again from 2020 - 2023.
- Back-bone behind driving sports at Oscar Mpetha High School and creating a dialog between all relevant stakeholders.
