· Underwriting and compliance
1. Preliminary medical underwriting: Ensuring that all required medical reports and questionnaires are received.
2. Preliminary financial underwriting: analysing financial data to ascertain if member qualifies for certain products.
3. Performing FICA risk assessments and verifying applicants and beneficiaries
4. Performing FSCA checks and internal accreditation on all FSP's, Key Individuals, representatives.
5. Using a combination of automated tools and manual reviewing processes to determine risk level associated with potential clients and businesses.
6. Verifying, recording and reporting on politically exposed persons and escalating high risk cases.
7. Ensuring compliance with POPIA and FICA
· Client and broker servicing (Telephonic and via email correspondence)
1.Applications and management of cases during the application process and communicating counteroffers.
2.After-sales servicing and feedback: confirmation of benefits, generating policy schedules, updating beneficiaries and banking details
3. Resolving escalated queries
4. Client relationship management
· Administration
1. Quality assurance and capturing of application forms
2. Quoting for prospective and active members
3. Reporting and case management: Updating daily regional statistics of cases with outstanding requirements and tracking status of cases
4. Processing cancellations and reinstatements
· Finance and member account management
1. Updating banking details
2. Scheduling premium collections and updating premium patterns
3. Processing temporary cessation of premium payment requests.
4. Deposit allocation queries
· Sales and members/financial advisor retention
1.Ensuring that financial advisors understand the products and services offered by PPS
2. De-escalating points of conflict and ensuring irate members are serviced and queries are resolved peacefully.
