Summary
I have been teaching Natural Sciences, English and other core subjects at the Intermediate and Senior Phase for over 10 years. The CAPS curricula are taught in South Africa ( Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement). I am currently in my 11th year of full time teaching. In addition to teaching my classes, I was responsible for CAPS and CPTD training and implementstion workshops. Following workshops, I organise internal workshops for my colleagues in order to disseminate information. As a cluster co-ordinator for my region ( Natural Sciences and Technology ), I am in charge of bringing colleagues together to set papers , design study material, and ensure that everything is inline with the curriculum in order to assist teachers and learners.I am a hard worker,a young, dedicated and energetic teacher with a strong desire to teach a more culturally diverse student body in a global setting. I am in charge of organising Olympiads and other national competitions for students. Recognised as the district’s lead educator for Natural Sciences and Technology, as well as the best teacher of the year 2022.
