Since 01 September 2023, I was as a Security Officer at Plant. My duties were as follows:

• Escorted employees throughout the Plant to ensure their safety and compliance with security protocols.
• Inspected gloves at the Sorthouse to verify their condition and usability for safety purposes.
• If there are any gloves that are damaged, I replace it with a new glove and ensure that I report to the surveillance employees in order to be recorded online (CIIMS).
• Conducting security inspection, Seal Inspection, to check that all seals are still in good order by using scanning machine.
• And also Camera check to ensure that the cameras are clean.
• Reported any spillages on the floor to maintenance for prompt removal and to ensure safety.
• To attend maintenance meeting in preparation for more security members to work for maintenance to avoid security delay.
• To write daily shift report at the end of the shift.
• To work on supervisor's desk when my supervisor is on leave or not on duty (Acting Supervisor).

Since June 2025 I have been working as a Security Officer at Surveillance ( Control Room). my duties are as follows.

• Supervise security guards and contract security. compiling posting in different posts, assisting CCTV operators.
• Scanning of Plant employees coming from the Plant at Scannex.
• Daily and Weekly report writing.
• Acting on Senior supervisor position when not on duty.
• Managed alarm responses to ensure swift action during security breaches or emergencies.
• surveillance monitoring & creating of footage
• Capturing incidents on Ciims (OB Online) Attending safety meetings.
• Prepared shift schedules and conducted Toolbox Talks.

Worked as a security officer at Sibanyestillwater Platinum Mining Refinery under Plant operation, my duties were as follows:

• To monitor the process of the production, when employees working on Gloves boxes, Reactors, Pneumatic system, to ensure that those gloves boxes are double locked by security padlock and production padlock.
• And ensure that transfers of capsules/samples arrived to the end point which is the laboratory.
• And the loading of PH5 in the reactors are conducted according to the procedure required.
• To ensure that there's no spillages in the Plant.
• To ensure that employees in the plant are wearing PPE.
• Ensuring the safety of employees

CCTV Monitoring: I was a CCTV operator conducting the following duties:

• Handling of alarms.
• Detecting illegal activities on operation.
• Observing the clocking process of the employees going and coming underground.
• Scanning female Plant employees when going out from the Plant.
• Capturing incidents on Ciims (OB Online)

I worked as a data capture, conducting the following duties:

• Capturing and updating data for performance report on CIIMS.
• Report writing
• Scanning of female employees and visitors when coming out from the plant.
• Underground Team - In 2016 I used to work on a special task underground, searching for illegal miners at the Cooke operation.

I started to work under Goldfields operation, since April 2008 until name changed to SibanyeGold February 2013, conducting the duties below:

• ACCESS CONTROL - Implemented stringent access control protocols by monitoring visitor movement, verifying appointments, and maintaining detailed visitor logs, ensuring the security of restricted premises.
• PATROL - I was conducting patrol for the purpose of preventing unauthorised persons from gaining access.
• ISSUING CLOCK CARDS - Relieving when someone is on leave or absent at work, by issuing clock cards for mine employees and contract employees and visitors' cards.
• SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR - Relieving when someone is on leave or absent at the switchboard, my duty was to receive and transfer calls to the relevant person.
