Summary

As a passionate drama teacher, I excel in developing and implementing diverse curricula that cover a wide range of subjects. My approach is rooted in motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcing concepts through interactive classroom instruction and keen observation. I take pride in my success in helping students develop strong literacy, numeracy, social, and learning skills.

In my classes, I teach students a variety of skills, including acting techniques, script analysis, improvisation, stage presence, and teamwork. These skills not only enhance their performance abilities but also contribute to their overall personal growth.

Coordinating drama productions is another area where I thrive. I've successfully managed auditions, directed rehearsals, collaborated with other teachers and staff, and overseen the technical aspects of productions such as lighting, sound, and set design. My favorite aspect of teaching dramatic arts is witnessing how these experiences empower students, boosting their confidence in themselves, their academic performance, and their public speaking abilities.
