MagZz Marimba

MagZz Marimba is an record producer, musician, songwriter, composer & arranger. He is the eldest of two boys and one girl, he is a father and a business man. He moved to Johannesburg at a young age and attended Sir Isaac Newton In 2011, MagZz, alongside his two friends Dj Emotionz and Uche Ubawuchi, formed a House group called Tarajika. The group got immense love and so much recognition which later attracted record label owner Lance Stehr who later signed them to Muthaland Entertainment. During their term at Muthaland they got to work with Nathi Mankayi, Vusi Nova, Ntando, Uhuru, Black Motion just to name a few. The group managed to release a few singles which went on to do well. One of them was "Good Love" which won the Best Video at the Liverpool Music Video Awards.

Entity disbanded in 2016 and MagZ Marimba went on to study Business management. In 2022, MagZz Marimba co-founded his Record Label 95Onpoint Entertainment alongside his longtime friend & Business partner Khutso Mokgalaka. 95Onpoint Entertainment is now a household entity for artists Like Avy Iper, Alfa Moschino & 2TwiiNz. On the 10th of November the label released their first single ''Umfula" from their artist Avy Iper which went on to do very well across all digital platforms. On the 15th of March again they also released their second single "Zikude'' which is currently doing well.

MagZz Marimba is currently working on a Tiktok project with one of the best SA producers Alie Keys. Together they went on to scout talented musicians on Tiktok giving them a platform to showcase their talent to the main stream.MagZz Marimba being the A&R of the project, Alie Keys responsible for music production & Andrew being the project manager. There are all passionate about developing artists brand and discovering innovative ways to showcase their talents and create a sustainable future for themselves.

2024 is definitely the year for MagZz Marimba as he prepares to bring some heat, with more amazing music and features. Since being on the music scene, MagZz Marimba seeks to change the face of SA music, as he is currently completing his EP incorporating different sounds from all over the continent and fusing them with SA beats, to create something that is uniquely his.
