My passion for care is the central focus of my professional drive. Over my career, I have gained extensive experience supporting individuals with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, profound learning disabilities, mental health, and challenging behaviours. This has continued since my arrival in Guernsey six months ago, where I have been working as an agency support worker, building upon the strong foundation of knowledge and experience I gained within the UK care sector. My commitment to leadership is underscored by my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, complemented by regular training to ensure my practice remains current and informed within the evolving Health and Social Care landscape
Following dedicated years of service at Midco Care, including my time as a CQC Registered Manager, after starting as a Support Worker in 2019, I ultimately decided to pursue a new and rewarding opportunity as an Agency Support Worker in a new environment in Guernsey.
During my 6 months working as an agency support Worker at the Autism Hub in Guernsey, I have become well integrated to the team and am now keen to make a long term commitment and take up a permanent role.
Started as SERVICE COORDINATOR ON 1 December 2023 and being elevated to Registered Manager on 8 May 2025 after a CQC interview. Roles were as below:
