- Refurbishment of Valves
- Remove Actuators. Disassemble valve, visually inspect valve components; hand wheel, nut key, yoke, gland follower, bonnet, spindle seat & drive nut Replace damaged components, lap & blue valve seat. Assemble Valve & check functionality before final inspection. This is different types of valves, PSV, Globe, Wedge, NRV, Nozzle, Steam Trap, and Butterfly Valves.
- Auxiliaries
- Remove filters, clean filters & box up. Open coolers, clean tubes and replace Gaskets. Check & refill oil levels if necessary. Do Pressure test on HP, LP Heaters, Gland steam condenser, Atmospheric tank, RFWT tank & CPP vessels. Removal & installation of CPP vessel laterals.
- Do high level test on the BFPT & main condenser vessels & plug the leaking tubes.
- Gearboxes
- Overhauling, cleaning of components, inspection of keys gears, sleeves & reassembly.
- Centrifugal Pump
- Strip, Clean, Visual inspection, replace damaged components, do shaft run-outs, record all sizes on check sheet. Punch gasket rings and conduct a pressure tests. Pre-alignment with clock and feeler or slip gauges. Record radial and axial sizes Record shaft lifts.
