- Expanded the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme, increasing hearing screening coverage from 0.03% to 30% in 4 months through collaborative work with colleagues, quality improvement initiatives, workflow optimisation, and increased awareness of healthcare staff.
- Designed and implemented patient education resources, including audiology information pamphlets and educational flyers covering hearing health. hearing loss, hearing aids, tinnitus, newborn hearing screening and ear care.
- Established an Audiology Patient Education Information Station within the department, enabling patients and their families to access educational materials while waiting for appointments, thereby improving patient engagement and health literacy.
- Led hands-on training for 4 audiologist colleagues and 6 students on the operation and clinical application of newly acquired hearing aid verification equipment (e.g., Maestro, Inventis Trumpet & Drum), improving staff competency and supporting best-practice hearing aid verification procedures.
- Spearheaded an initiative to reduce the hearing aid waiting list by coordinating the assessment and allocation, fitting, and follow-up of patients who have been waiting since 2024/2025, improving timely access to hearing rehabilitation services.
- Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care approaches.
- Completed specialised training in Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) systems, including BAHA Connect, BAHA Attract, and Osia technology.
