Roles and responsibilities:

• Teaching and curriculum design of theory and practical lesson plans. Setting and marking of test and exam papers, homework and written or practical assignments.
• Plan and administer on learners' academic progress.
• When needed, prepare lessons and teach Visual Art Gr 10-12
• Classroom management that stimulates positive learning.
• Share in responsibilities of organising school related extra and co-curricular activities such as exhibitions, fundraising events, teacher workshops.
• Setting up art exhibitions throughout the year.
• Advise the principal on the division of work among staff in the Design Department.
• Management and planning of art materials, textbooks and design related equipment.
• Act on behalf of the principal and deputy principal during their absence from school.
