I have a big interest in Emergency Medical Care and Rescue and made it my goal to become an Emergency Care Practitioner to serve my community and help people in need. I am also a very goal oriented and hands on person that works well in a team.
I am currently a volunteer crew member for the National Sea Rescue Institute, Station 17 in Hermanus. The skills I have learned while being part of the NSRI is performing rescues on sea safely and efficiently, providing medical care to people in need and how to cope in stressful situations.
