I was the senior designer and worked directly under a marketing manager, I created the brand identity, corporate identity, and social media pages. Unfortunately, the part of the company I was working for were to be liquidated and I did not feel comfortable staying on board, so I pursued other opportunities. I worked here throughout the last few months of my degree – it was challenging to balance the two, but I was motivated to gain the experience, I needed to open the doorway of opportunities. It was a great place to network and meet influential people. The commute to work was a bit extreme due to the distance so I had to seek other opportunities. It was a great experience none the less.
