I have served 14 successful years with my former employer and I was privileged to be a contributing member of a results-orientated team of the complete procurement lifecycle within the Pharma Industry.
The working model was to consistently deliver cost reductions through strategic sourcing, price tracking and operational efficiency.
As a team, we strived to build, improve and maintain strong supplier relationships and focused on contract negotiations, whilst ensuring timely delivery of goods and compliance with both company and industry requirements.
I have gained cross-functional experience across various departments, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of organizational dynamics.
My initial appointment was as a Personal Assistant to the Sales Manager and the Sales Team, managing supplier and customer Interactions, order forecasting and supporting warehouse and delivery operations.
My role expanded to include responsibilities as an assistant buyer to the Pharmacist and assistant shipping and freight controller to the CFR.
Later, I was promoted to Procurement and Logistics Administrator and I collaborated closely with the Finance Team to determine the expected landed cost of goods.
Upon the employment of a new CFR Staff Member and a second Procurement Administrator, I was responsible for their training and knowledge transfer, ensuring seamless workflow continuity.
I am proficient in vendor management, shipping and freight control, raw material (both API's and nutritional), packaging (glass products, tubes, capsules etc) sourcing and operating within regulatory frameworks while upholding company standards.
