We are pleased to note our satisfaction with the standard of service which was offered to the Steve Tshwete Municipality Electoral office by Mr. Nhlanhla Clement Khumalo ID number 9112115590089. He was appointed as a Registration officer during the 2019 National and Provincial registration weekend in January at Bonisani Pre School voting station; his duties were to register potential voters to be included in our National Voter Roll. He was then promoted to the position of Registration Supervisor and his duties were to oversee the registration process of inmates at the Middelburg Correctional Services during the registration of Prisoners. He was then promoted to the position of a Deputy Presiding Officer during the 2019 Nation and Provincial Elections assisting the IEC at Bonisani Pre-School Voting Station. His duties were to manage the Voting Station during the special votes which were conducted on the 6th and 7th of May 2019 and to assist the Presiding Officer during the voting day which was the 8th of May 2019 in managing the Voting Station. In executing the above mentioned duties, the IEC needs a hardworking and trust worthy person as his duties involved handling of sensitive material such as ballot papers, security stamps and seals and he demonstrated those qualities with flying colours. He continued to excel in offering his services with dignity and respect in assisting the office with the mandate of delivering free and fair elections and he showed great passion in doing his work.
