MAJOR DUTIES (Underground Mining)

· Repairs and maintained of Jina 1, Jina 2 JOY 14HM15 and continuous miners.

· Repair and maintenance of Joy 12HM30, 12HM31 B & 12HM 37

· Repairs maintenance of JOY 10SC22 (D) and (C) 10SC22 shuttle cars.

· Repairs and maintenance of battery Haulers.

· Assembling of associate spares which includes wheel unit, gear cases, gear boxes, cutter heads etc.

· Assist in spare and inventory.

· Repairs and maintained of FB15 coal cutters.

· Repairs and maintained of FFE feeder breakers.

· Repairs and maintained of RHAM, Fletcher's and arrow root bolter's.

· Maintains ream worked on maintenance schedules of all sections.

· Hydraulic fault finding and repairs.

· Assist electricians on electrical breakdowns.

· Building of machines in main workshop

· Working on CM, roof bolter's, feeder breakers & shuttle cars and face drills.

· Production Plant, screens, Wemco, separators, centre fusions, Warman Pumps , ext.

· Standby duties, call out duties, field service duties.

HEAVY ENGINEERING

· Repair and maintenance of pump which include War man, Multistage etc.

· Repair and maintenance of compressors which include Ingeroll Rand, Atlas Copco etc.

· Installations of couplings which include solid fenner flex & fluid.

· Repair and maintains of gear boxed, radicon gear box, Jones Hansen, BEW double reduction & David Brown.

· Repair and maintains of conveyor belt system (poly belt, bucket screws etc.)

· Repairs on conveyor belts using COLD & HOT SPLICING methods.

· Repairs and maintenance of screens, Wemco drums, separators etc.

· Maintenance and repairs on bearings and white metal bearings installation.

· Main conveyer belts maintenance and breakdowns.

- Machine workshop complete rebuilds on all machines, compressors , exc including hydraulics curates.

- Turning and milling of all component's.
