  • Tracking and monitoring of budget expenditure and report to Media Relations Director.
  • Application of standard procedures for all financial transactions to ensure compliance with policy and the PFMA (Public Finance Management Act).
  • Purchase office consumables and stationery for Media relations unit.
  • Identify, analyse, and prioritize key stakeholders including the Community Members, Government, NGOs, Business Sector and the Private Sector.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in stakeholder engagement.
  • Media monitoring - daily monitoring of print media (newspapers), online media, TV and radio platforms.
  • Manage the department's social media account by creating and monitoring engagements, and analysing performance metrics.
  • Respond to social media comments and inboxes on all DHA social media platforms i.e Facebook, X (tweeter) and Instagram.
  • Prepare weekly social media enquire reports.
  • Compile and submit own personal development plan.
  • Participates in relevant and application training courses, workshops as needed/directed.
  • Fast track the compilation and submission of performance agreements within deadlines.
