  • I am currently servicing 2 clients at different sites with additional recruitment and reporting duties at Head Office from time to time.
  • Keep employee records accurate and current, both digitally and in physical formats, while adhering to data protection laws.
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, leave applications, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Compile and submit WSP and ATR, which are submitted in April every year.
  • Compile, capture, and report EE to the Department of labour in time.
  • Issuing certificates of service and UIF forms when needed.
  • Update and submit Stats SA information.
  • Handling disciplinary processes and managing grievances.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and HR-related matters, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Conduct probation interviews for new employees to assess whether a new hire is meeting expectations and thriving in the role, and also to allow the new employee to voice any concerns or challenges.
  • Facilitating onboarding for new recruits.
  • Conducting Exit interviews.
  • Liaise with external service providers, medical aids, Investment plans, and provident fund insurance, to ensure legal compliance.
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team and management.
  • Ensure that Fire Fighters, SHE Representatives, and first-aiders are appointed, and certification is valid and up to date.
  • Organize health and safety meetings and take minutes of the meetings every month.
  • Ensure accurate payroll data, new engagements, terminations, overtime, and leave schedules.
  • Help with drawing up contracts for new hires, increase letters, acting allowance, and bonus letters.
  • Assist with HMT loan applications.
  • Support auditors during any external audits with relevant payroll data, as required.
  • Setting up the necessary training interventions.
  • Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Responsible for social planning and initiatives, (Vouchers, employee braais, and year-end functions).
