Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team and management.
Ensure that Fire Fighters, SHE Representatives, and first-aiders are appointed, and certification is valid and up to date.
Organize health and safety meetings and take minutes of the meetings every month.
Ensure accurate payroll data, new engagements, terminations, overtime, and leave schedules.
Help with drawing up contracts for new hires, increase letters, acting allowance, and bonus letters.
Assist with HMT loan applications.
Support auditors during any external audits with relevant payroll data, as required.
Setting up the necessary training interventions.
Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
Responsible for social planning and initiatives, (Vouchers, employee braais, and year-end functions).
