At Cape Peninsula University of Technology, every year they sent us out to schools twice a year for our Teaching Practice. In that period, we had a chance to engage with the school environment, our clients, the learners- our colleagues, the other teachers and other activities that occur in the school premises besides teaching and learning.

Communication- I have great communication skills, I enquire when I need help, explain when I understand better and I make my lessons learner-centred so the communication between me and my learners could increase
Patience- I am tolerant to other people's paces
Creativity- I believe that a Natural and Physical Sciences teacher needs creative ways to teach science so that my unique learners can gain understand in the same rate
Adaptability- I did my tertiary years at Cape Town and left to come and teach at Durban because I love new environments because I am great with adapting in new places and with new people
Leadership- I believe that a leader is not someone who sits back and watch others work, but works with them and leads them how it is done What I love the most about leadership is that I don't have to teach sometimes because these learners are already a masterpiece
Organization- Being on time, files and documents on point, check
Classroom management- I allow learners to speak and share their thoughts and ideas and I believe that respect and co-ordination from the learners I will earn
Conflict resolution- I minimaze conflict in the worst way possible and when it comes, I had it the way I should, with communication and asking for help
Teaching methodology- I use different methodologies depending on the learning area\subject or the topic I am very flexible
Curriculum development- I follow CAPS in everything I do with the learners
