As a Biomedical Technologist student, I gained hands-on experience in a real-world laboratory setting, working alongside experienced professionals in the field. This experiential learning opportunity provided me with the chance to apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems, develop my skills, and build a network in the industry. I spent 6 months at an Academic laboratory which helped me in choosing Clinical Pathology as my specialty of study.
