I have a strong background in Health Systems and Policy with a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH) from University of Cape Town. I hae over 10 years work experience through research, consultant and board positions across various health fields such as HIV/Aids, Children's Heart Disease Research Unit, Mental Health, youth unemployment, health finance (grant fund raising and financial mechanism research) and health systems. I have had experience on Universal Health Coverage in Rwanda and have also worked in Kenya, India and South Africa. My academic career is indicated as a result of over 5 publications which include desk-based research such as: peer-reviewed articles, opinion pieces, information sheets, and book chapters. One pinnacle article on: Providing mental healthcare through faith-based entities in Africa: a systematic review.
I got awarded with Most Organized at Monash in 2014, Best All Founder and being the first President and Founder at Red Drop Monash. I have also been recognized for my contributions to the International Working Group for Health Systems Strengthening (IWG) as Health Systems Strengthening Lead.
