Multiple Global Portfolio management (Group Marketing, CIB Marketing, CIB People and Culture, CIB Finance, CIB Risk, CIB Legal.
· Preparation and presentation of Periodic Financial and Management accounting reports to Business unit directors – this includes monthly Global performance packs and Quarterly Business Review for strategic committee meetings
· Analyzing and Reporting on costs, transfer recoveries and staff headcount (SA/AR/INTL)
· Aid Management with Financial Planning by providing relevant information around their monthly spend (IS & GL) and spend forecasting models
· Business Partnering with Business unit leadership (Directors and Senior Managers) to provide operational and tactical finance support
· Risk and compliance of invoices/purchase orders created by the business unit
· Processing of journals and restatements
· Providing accurate and meaningful commentary for decision making purposes
· The construction and maintenance of cost absorption files (PCM files) for all cost centres within the portfolio.
· Full accountability for the Forecasting and Budget Process, this includes the creation and input of planning templates, reporting and presentation of data
· Fully accountability for the P&L (Cost centres) and Balance Sheet substantiation
· Accounting hygiene accountability including monitoring payments and maintaining Delegation of Authority limits
Preparation of monthly management accounts, analysis and insight including industry metrics. Control environment and aiding with the annual audit.
