This role requires me to lead the systematic process of tracking and tracing the objectives of the Fund’s programmes portfolio to measure if they are being met and the impact is being measured which would involve leveraging the power of data and information being generated by projects and programmes to inform decision-making.
· Support the development of the implementation of the MERL
framework.
· Participate in planning, development and administration of MERL
activities, initiatives and related research to achieve the Fund’s
objectives.
· Draft progress reports in compliance with the internal monitoring
procedures.
· Liaise with Grants Management Partners (GMPs), Community Based
Organizations (CBOs) and other identified key stakeholders to ensure
accountability on an ongoing basis.
· Maintain and administer the M&E database; analyse and aggregate
findings.
To support the Grant Funding Division in the effective delivery of the overall grants allocated by assessing and ensuring information submitted is correctly captured within set time limits.
• Assess and screen grant application forms, budget, motivation, financial
· statements, business plan and all other related information submitted for
· funding, to ensure compliance and quality control according to the NLC’s
· standards.
Providing customer care in the Client Liaison Unit
· Managing communication between the applicant and the NLC
• Verify organizations existence with referees.
• Presentation of applications to the Distributing Agency.
• Oversee the processing of post-adjudication documentation.
• Ensure progress reports and tranche payments are processed and projects closed.
To support the development and evolution of organizational performance management framework as well as specific NLC programs M&E needs to ensure the quality, and effectiveness of the programs.
· Serving as a point of liaison between the Monitoring and Evaluation unit and other units within the National Lotteries Commission.
· Providing support to the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in preparation of workplan, budget graphing/costing activities and submissions for management approval
· Supporting and ensuring progress report reviewing is in line with the NLC reporting policies.
· Assisting and providing support on impact assessments of the NLC community projects/initiatives.
· Assist in overall NLC monitoring and evaluation of projects i.e., reviewing audited financial statements, ensuring they are in line with the NLC compliance policies
