• In collaboration with all project stakeholders, the consulting engineers, the client, and the implementing agent, my team successfully executed the reinstatement of the 2 kilometres of high traffic roadwork in an affluent suburb
• Guided a multi-disciplinary team to exceed the monthly targets of the new installations by 40%, in turn assisting the client to increase its revenue
• Documented a detailed track of daily progress and productivity, and analyzed data to identify and correct mistakes in a storm damaged block of flats project
• In turn the project was completed before its targeted deadline
• Participated in the tender for the supply and delivery of manufactured refuse plastic bags, from pre-tendering to a bid submission
• And supported the company owner to win the tender, and implemented PMBOK guidelines to successfully deliver results on this crucial project
• Facilitated the resolution of conflicts between different stakeholders, the consultant, the client, and the community based forums, fostering a collaborative work environment conducive to a successful completion of the construction of the low cost houses
• In turn reducing the housing backlog by 20% in kwaDukuza municipality
• Oversaw a team of 125 skilled and semi-skilled personnel that successfully delivered excellence in the completion of the construction of ablution facilities project in Ilembe district municipality.

Key Projects Achievements

• Through teamwork we restored to optimum the operations of a Telkom exchange, classified as silver standard that provides telecommunication services to big corporations in the area
• In essence, contributing to its triple bottom line
• Aggressive installations of telephone lines to the new customers, increasing Telkom’s customer base with a significant margin
• Tendered for, and won the tender aligned with the Umgeni Water CEO’s new business strategy to have only one main contractor to provide horticultural services to their water treatment plants in the regions
• Establishment of a Telkom project in Gauteng, from its inception to operational with 10 teams of skilled and semi-skilled labour
• The multi-disciplinary teams managed to decrease by 50% the complaints of the new customers awaiting telecommunication services
• Achieved the project objectives and goals to complete maintenance of culverts project before its deadline, and assisted PRASA to continue with its mandate to commute low-income earners.
