Supply Planning:
• Lead and ensure alignment and implement locally relevant and globally-connected supply strategies to improve productivity, quality and efficiency through-out the supply chain to enable the delivery and improvement of customer satisfaction (internal and external).
• Devise action plans and engage relevant stakeholders to manage conflicting KPI’s between customer service, production and warehousing in order to ensure an effective balance between servicing customers with carrying the lowest possible inventory in line with strategy.
• Review the forecasted demand with the available operations capacity in order to determine the required production output per month.
• Participate in weekly production planning meetings with key operations stakeholders to ensure the detailed scheduling is adjusted based on the production output and demand variation.
• Lead monthly Supply Review Meetings to reconcile constrained and unconstrained plans with key stakeholders (Operations (Plants), Procurement, Logistics, Demand Planning) in order to test and gain agreement from relevant business stakeholders on supply plan.
• Actively promote planning and scheduling in the ERP system and manage stakeholders’ behaviour to adhere to said plans in order to avoid unplanned production and procurement.
• Act as an advisor to new product development, new business/manufacturing or warehouse footprint change initiatives in order to determine production output and space requirements.
• Strive to understand ‘End-to-end’ Supply Chain for the Saint Gobain SA business to ensure that factual and informed business decisions are made.
• Coach people where necessary within the supply planning process in order to influence implementation of key supply planning processes.
o Production Planning:
• Be the link between sales and production, providing information dates, available capacity, raw materials and lead-time to various products
• Weekly and daily planning of production to satisfy a given forecast / demand in line with plant efficiency, capacity and warehouse capacity. Planning to be done in ERP system timeously ensuring that data is live and accurate.
• Communicate production plan changes timeously to relevant stakeholders to support decisions for adequate material levels.
• Track and report Master Schedule adherence and Production Schedule adherence. Understand & report on root causes for deviations and escalate capacity constraint concerns.
• Daily monitoring of goods movements to:
• Ensure correct consumptions in SAP
• Analyse and investigate variances within SAP
• Ensure that production orders are closed & techo’d timeously. (All production orders to be closed by Month end)
• Weekly checking and reporting of Production variances against BOM planned consumption.

o Process management and improvement:
• Apply continuous improvement principles to supply planning processes in order to produce faster, at a better quality, at a better cost with as little as possible scrap.
• Ensure supply planning processes are documented in order to manage knowledge within the organistion.
o Analysis and reporting:
• Collaborate and influence adherence to published production plans by all stakeholders in the value chain through effective communication and monitoring of performance.
• Review holistic supply process to validate proven capacity, identify key bottle necks and devise most appropriate supply plan.
• Submit required reports timeously to management to support business result analysis and key decision making processes

• Manage the stock quality and quantity in support of the category, and supply chain strategy through effective planning and forecasting of sales and purchases, and effective stock management with the objective of driving sales and profit growth whilst optimizing working capital
• Creates and updates the financial business plan for the category with sales, GP, purchases, and stock forecasts, in alignment with the category, range and promotion strategy and plan
• Reviews and updates replenishment system with item level demand forecast, using trend, seasonality promotional activity information
• Reviews and optimizes ordering and delivery system settings and parameters to ensure stock level, working capital, and DC space utilization and Cost to Serve model efficiency is maximized
• Engages the DC Supply Chain on special projects or initiatives to improve efficiency of items
• Supports Category Managers with promotional forecasting, and drives promotional ordering, in-stock and stock level management
• Manages the order input of all special buy-in orders to ensure alignment with profitability, in stock and stock performance targets and parameters
• Uses internal and external data to provide relevant analysis and reports to support category, item and supplier performance review and decision making
• Develops strategic business relationships with stakeholders (buying team, DC, Suppliers and retailers) to align and improve the business
• Analyzing the supply chain data and doing root cause analysis
• Assisting Supply Chain Manager with stock budget
• Weekly meetings with promotions team to ensure stock availability
• Weekly meetings with warehouse to do inbound quality checks
• Monitor supplier performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements

• Analyzing the Demand of customer orders and ensuring sufficient stock is available to meet forecast and demand
• Ensure promotional activity and in-store activity are integrated into the forecast
• Manage replenishment systems to ensure accurate product replenishment by SKU/store for assigned products
• Planning deviations, service levels and tracking against forecast and budget
• Variance between expected and actual results
• Monitor monthly forecast vs weekly forecast and take corrective action
• Draw reports on new listings/discontinued lines
• Analyze deviations and demand changes
• Forecasting, new product launches, product discontinuations, flexible promotional editing, data cleansing using Banton Bforecasting
• Minimize space issues from branches by loading oldest stock first
• Ensure Stock availability on shelf before loading and communicate demand of orders to warehouses
• Ensure optimum stock levels and availability at distribution locations
• Identify and prioritize urgent stock, promotional stock and ensure stock is delivered to customer with urgency
• Ensure fair share of products in case of shortages by liaising with Supply Planners for production
• Monitor stock age daily and take action to prevent obsolete stock
• Investigate and report on obsolete stock
• Analyzing potential short, dated stock in the network
• Assist with distributing short, dated PnP products in warehouses to minimize inventory cost on obsolete stock
• Ensure everything is sold before it reaches SLED
• Communicate with Sales and marketing with short, dated stock for possible solutions to sell the stock
• Weekly meetings with customer to communicate risks on supply, promotions, and performance operationally
• Report and analyses daily short supply reasons to customer
• Compile a report on PnP Stock on hand and days to cover Vs Clover Stock on hand
• Clover to customer deployment activities monthly report
• Take measures to prevent double trips to customer
• Communicate full loads in weeks advance to Transport
• Always look at the most cost-effective way to transport stock
• Equalize freights over week peak / public holiday / December plan in place
• Plan stock deployment to branch to ensure 98% OFR to trade
• Maintain optimum stock levels
• Monitor available space and adjust plan accordingly
• Co-ordinate space constraints with Principals/Planners
• Report daily on warehouse utilization
• Report and analyses daily short supply and coordinate with warehouse and Demand Planners
• Report daily to warehouse: days stock, stock age, excluded lines and supply to trade

• Sales and Import Planning of Technological retail goods, by Managing the Supply chain value chain of importing the goods to be delivered to the customers by ensuring the right product, at the right time, quantity, and place, to also ensure building a good relationship with the customer base
• Compile and issue quotations for Apple build to order machines
• Enter and process all incoming purchasing orders - web portal based and e-mail
• Set up and document the order process for new customers
• Generation of Purchasing orders from factory and Sales orders to customers by capturing of orders
• Maintain the company's order processing manual
• Complete daily inventory checks to ensure order accuracy
• Send customers and distributors daily or weekly inventory updates
• Provide customer service for iStore, Digicape, Nett, Makro
• Liaise with sales division to determine customer requirements
• Execute the Order to Cash activities daily
• Develop good relationships with customers
• Management of Supply chain process of Shipments from airfreight to the warehousing
• Liaise with warehousing to follow up with shipments to ensure timeously delivery of customers' orders
• Admin of loading of vessels shipments on Syspro, apportioning of costs, organizing the cold count and good receipting stock
• Manage company's shipping vendors - DSV Freight Carriers
• Send Clearing instructions to third party logistics (DSV) to clear stock
• Advising customers of order fulfillment problems
• Compiling Shipment payment packs by scanning for record keeping and submitting to finance within cut-off times
• Assist with the resolution of queries by internal and external stakeholders timeously, to ensure customer satisfaction
• Managing and issuing the CTO status report on a weekly basis
• Creation of product SKU codes and pricing
