Leading my team from the front with the following daily tasks:

• Manage personal workload and ensure timely escalation of key risks/issues to management.
• Handle, review, and verify all applications for client onboarding within available SLAs.
• To maintain a good relationship and work closely with Relationship Partner Teams and directly with clients, as required, to obtain all necessary supporting evidence to fulfill your KYC due diligence.
• Proficiency in compliance applications and programs such as Refinitiv World-Check and Jumio.
• Act as a checker to ensure effective two-eyed and four-eyed customer due diligence process.
• Good proficiency in conducting risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews, and enhanced due diligence.
• Monitoring and documentation of unusual activity or AML flags.
• Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other subjects that may form part of the day-to-day work requirements.
• Handling any general administration and ancillary activities related to the above functions in accordance with the business requirements of the company.
• Reviewing constitutional documents of corporate clients and their related parties.
• Conducting open-source searches on regulation, public listing, and licensing status.
• Performing WorldCheck screening against PEP, TF, Adverse Media, and ML risk. Performing translations of corporate documents to English.
• Preparing senior management and MLRO escalation forms with a detailed description of the risk posed by the client, as well as red flags and mitigating factors. Providing feedback on system malfunctions, gaps, and necessary upgrades.
• Implementing procedures in the onboarding environment, pointing out procedural gaps.
• Detecting suspicious and falsified documentation.
• Ensuring accurate manual data entry.

• Following policies and procedures to ensure customers are onboarded in compliance with local regulations, including but not limited to Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customers (KYC)
• Helping Business customers to onboard seamless from multiple geographies
• Provide recommendations in relation to the onboarding of high risk business accounts, and escalate said accounts for sign-off prior to the completion of the onboarding process
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Conducting enhanced due diligence reviews of relevant business customers at onboarding
• Check quality of review done by other analysts.
