Job overview

  • Ensure that GMPs/PRPs are maintained as per arrival of the raw material until despatch
  • Monitoring of plant and personnel hygiene and responsible for daily pre-production inspections
  • Responsible for doing monthly GMP/PRPs audit as per area/section
  • Ensure sampling and testing plan, by doing environmental swabs, hands swabs and product sampling
  • Incoming inspections of the raw material, transportation, and documentations from the supplier
  • Quality checks on the raw material i.e visual inspections, pH and temperatures
  • Conducting glass audit as per area
  • Final product checks i,e visual inspection, product temperature, pH labelling and packaging
  • Verification of CCP (metal detectors) and scale verification
  • Foss analysis on beef VLs
  • Reporting of any nonconformances, to relevant departments and follow-ups on root causes, corrective actions and preventative measures
  • Report any quality deviations/process deviations/out of specification to Senior QAT/Quality manager
  • Daily reporting/submission of check sheets as per my working station and submit to Senior QAT
  • Trending foreign matters
  • Online temperature monitoring of deboned products
  • Responsible for dispatch quality checks, products and containers/trucks
  • Assisting senior QAT with reviewing and creating of SOPs, Policies and work instructions as per BRC quality management system
  • Partake in mock recalls
  • Partake in external audit i.e RCGGS, DAFF, ZA and SANHA
  • Responsible for doing traceability as per schedule
  • Assist with hygiene inductions and training shopfloor staff on their work instructions as per area/process
