Having obtained my National Senior Certificate (Matric)in 2020, i then started my level entry experience working as a picker packer for almost two years at Keystone Apparel (Timberland). Advanced into a warehouse assistant for one year four months and later became a warehouse operator (currently) both at Buffalo International Logistics. Having worked these years in the warehouse environment I have obtained skills like using Microsoft word, excel and SAP and started doing my Occupational certificate: Supply Chain practitioner course at Oxbridge Academy online.
• Operating forklifts, doing forklifts checklists and refueling all forklifts (2.5 ,3.5
& 7 000 kg), stacking and unstacking trolleys, moved PMC’S (pallet
manageable for cargo) into and out of the warehouse
• Attend to damaged parcels and those needing customer information
update on the system and printed new stickers for parcels.
• Keeping warehouse stations and equipment in good working order in line
with SHEQ requirements.
• Loading, unloading, and moving material to and from storage and
production areas using pallet jacks & Forklifts
• Working together with receive and dispatch team to process goods into
and out of the warehouse
• Assisted with receiving, unloading, counting and stocking physical
inventory in the warehouse, opened shipments, boxes, crates and other
containers.
• Attended to Flight management to know which shipments were ready to
be processed. (Shipment Handover)
• Scanned more than (1000) parcels off from shipments and packed them
into trolleys and made suggestions for productivity improvements and
organized warehouse and work area for orderliness
• Maintained a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and
regularly inspecting warehouse equipment.

packages per day
