Summary

I am an enthusiastic individual in pursuit for self-growth, while making a significant contribution to the organization with which I am employed at. I have attained substantial knowledge in the field of Telecommunications. Hence, I have a strong desire to broaden this knowledge in a way that will add value to the organization. Some of my strong qualities includes the ability to work well under pressure, learn and adapt to different environment easily, good communication (verbal and writing), proactive and self-motivated. My 15 years’ experience in telecoms enabled me to acquire a broad experience in the core network; this includes feasibility study, implementation and testing new technologies such as VoLTE, SIP interconnect, MOCN, 5G NSA, and Media Gateway/Mobile Switching Centre Server, capacity planning, coordinating activities associated PS infrastructure, software upgrades and supporting switching technologies of the Core Networks. This has shown me that I can excel in any dynamic and challenging environment. I wish to build on my achievements and further my career. Combined with my strong skills, and can-do attitude, I can offer you a combination of practical experience and up to date theoretical knowledge. I require minimum supervision and have developed great interpersonal, time management and multi- tasking skills.

  • Advice in making decisions concerning software and hardware upgrades based on the Vendor recommendations and evaluate new features of the system and determine the benefits for the business, feasibility study in terms of improved performance versus estimated cost implications for the business, and motivation of requirements to management

Communication Skills: In the areas I worked and still do, there is a lot of interworking with many other departments within the organization. Hence, the communication skills (written and verbal) are considerably developed

Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills: In my field of work, I constantly engage with different teams, and extensive teamwork is required because different parties need to be involved in making sure the core network is stable and reliable; this has sharpened my teamwork and interpersonal skills I also deal with a lot of internal and external clients.

Problem-solving skills: My problem-solving skills are highly developed due to the experience acquired as a specialist, and the exposure to some of the problem-solving modules within the courses completed

Project management skills: Piloting all the new technologies and system upgrades requires project management; I learned the skill as part of what I do to make sure all my deliverables are met, and that I deliver within set timelines
