Summary

Mr Mothusi Choeunyane is a Diplomat who has successfully served in two countries Nigeria (Abuja) and DRC (Lubumbashi; SA Consulate General) as First Secretary Political. He further served in the following Political Desks at Head Office (DIRCO) East Africa/ West Africa and Central Africa. Key duties being to manage Bilateral and Economic relations between these countries and the Republic of South Africa. My key competencies are strategy formulation and execution intended to improve SA's political and economic relations. Strong leader and problem-solver dedicated to streamlining operations to decrease costs and promote organizational efficiency.

A seasoned Protocol Officer with knowledge and understanding of relevant public service legislation; knowledge and understanding of protocol procedures and guidelines; Diplomatic Immunities and Privileges Act (DIPA); Immigration Act. Both at Head Office and on posting managed the facilitation of inter alia Head of States and their delegations. Worked at various SA hosted Political Summits. i.e AU Heads of State Summit; Presidential Inaugurations. Ministers and other VIP’s on arrival and departures. Adhere to all protocol and ceremonial directives, procedures and guidelines, show sensitivity and respect for foreign cultures, norms and values.
