Summary

I have been working in the Department of Education for 25 years in various position like Mathematics, Natural and Physical Sciences Teacher; Senior Education Specialist for Physical and Technical Sciences. I have been involved in setting, moderation and marking of tests, examination and practical tests at school, district, provincial and national levels. My other responsibilities include(d) monitoring and support of subject advisors, teachers and learners by mediating ATP; Diagnostic report; Marking Guidelines Discussions for Common Tasks; Moderation of SBA and PAT; organising Vacation/Weekend Classes; MST Conditional Grant Principals’ Meeting, etc My success including leading the best performing circuits in the province in both Physical and Technical Sciences. Currently, I am responsible for Physical Sciences which is the North West which is the 3rd best performing PED in the country in terms of NSC pass rates (having improved from 76,3% to 79,2%; 2,9% improvement).
