To actively participate and contribute as an SAP Ariba Functional Consultant on SAP Procurement Projects. To perform all project implementation activities from project explore phase through to post go-live support and any project admin related activities as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and contribute to process design workshops in assigned process areas.
• Create design documentation for assigned process areas.
• Perform design document process walkthrough to customer and gain acceptance.
• Configure the SAP system, demonstrate functionality and gain acceptance from customer.
• Perform unit testing on SAP systems of configured and custom developed functions.
• Document functional specifications for all custom developments and guide technical consultants assigned.
• Develop training manuals, test cases, scenarios and scripts, and migration strategy document.
• Provide support to users with the SAP system tests, ensures unit tests, integration tests, and end to end tests are conducted.
• Performs training to end users, super users or trainers selected.
• Interact with SAP organization as well as other online forums as necessary during projects to obtain resolution on issues.
• Perform post go-live support tasks, including intensive support immediately after go-live.

To assist with all project implementation activities from project explore phase through to post go-live support. To conduct data analysis on Procurement spend to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and develop effective supplier management as well as effective category management strategies in Advisory projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assess client requirements to translate key challenges into solutions and develop reporting dashboards.
• Improve procurement efficiency by streamlining processes and implementing cost-saving strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop procurement strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Assist with creation of comprehensive category plans to support strategic sourcing initiatives and achieve company objectives of managing contractual compliance.
• Evaluate market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities within the supply chain.
• Conduct thorough spend analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Research and evaluate new and current vendors to determine suitability of products and contract and pricing negotiations.
• Participate in process design and implementation workshops for assigned business areas.
• Prepare design documentation for process areas.
• Attend design document process walkthrough to customer and learn from Senior Consultants.
• Take directions and configure the SAP system, demonstrate functionality and gain acceptance from customer.

• Manage Supply Chain regulation database.
• Advise clients regarding procurement, enterprise and development best practices.

• Work closely with business owner and employees to gather information used to assess new opportunities and prepare proposals.

Obtain understanding of the role of Purchasing in the organization through performance of tasks that support the achievement of functional objectives, which are ensuring adherence to ethical purchasing practice, obtain competitive prices, and securing supply of required goods and services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the organization is paying competitive prices for goods and services by researching alternative suppliers to identify opportunities for sourcing new vendors.
• Complete new vendor application, identify financial risks in credit application and responsible for loading suppliers.
• Liaise with finance department to resolve supplier account queries, invoices or any purchasing related issues.
• Maintain supplier master data reports for contracts, purchasing terms and conditions, ethical compliance and social audits, and BBBEE compliance.
• Identify suppliers valid for BBBEE audit and ensure relevant documentation is obtained.
• Analyze procurement spend by category to determine opportunities for cost savings.
• Raise purchase orders and follow up on approvals.
• Develop contract terms and negotiations with suppliers in consultation with legal department.
• Monitor contract compliance for strategic suppliers and ensure that KPI's are met continuously.
• Develop supplier database and align payment terms on SAP and contractual agreements.
• Collaborate to development of specification documents with cross-functional team members.
• Ensure development and adherence to company procurement policy and plans by all departments.
