• Since doing Java again for the first time in a working environment, I had a bit of catching up to do. I was immediately put onto unit testing coverage, where I managed to change the cover from 23% to 85% in a month or two. I was then involved with the USSD platform, where users are able to make airtime purchases and do surveys, among other things, using their mobile devices and USSD.
• Streamlined development processes by employing Agile methodologies and participating in Scrum meetings.

• Involved in the development and maintenance of the client portals, APIs, reporting, and admin backend.
• I worked on maintaining all client portals. Clients are able to purchase credit, pull reports, send messages (SMS) from the web interface, and also respond to messages sent to them.
• I worked on the Clickatell Connect project, which gave developers the possibility to send SMSs and make payments from their own application.
• Managed the Clickatell admin interface. Admins are able to manage clients, set up reports, and manage any binds required for the system.
• As a side project, I also built a Clickatell Android application where users could send SMS's through the Clickatell API.

I was responsible for the entire client portal and news web interface for the three MWEB Africa regions, including Nigeria, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, as well as the MWEB VSat portal.

The portals each had client logins where the user would be able to personalize his or her content, log into their online email, check their balance, and also manage their services that were hosted with MWEB.
