I have been employed as a diesel mechanic and controller for 7 years and furthered my career as a self-employed diesel mechanic and transporter for the past 18 years. My long career has involved working with diesel engines mainly, although I have a great deal of experience in all types of engines and drivetrains and also installing, converting, maintaining, and operating all kinds of machinery. I attribute much of my continued success in this field to make specific effort in paying attention at all times to maintaining a safe working environment, even to the smallest details, and I prioritize communication in the work space, collaborating and co-operating with other mechanics and work colleagues to achieve the desired results.
