Safety Management:
Conduct safety book inspections and safety walkabouts to identify potential risks, ensuring adherence to 5S/housekeeping and safety standards.
Coordinate team members' availability for statutory/regulatory safety trainings, manage safety incident investigations, and address near misses through BBS reports.
Maintain safety training registers/records and actively participate in safety audits.
Team Supervision and Development:
Promote harmonious relationships among staff through effective communication and regular review meetings with action plans.
Motivate and manage team members, identify training and development plans, and ensure effective manpower planning and resource allocation.
Perform administrative duties related to laborers, including processing timesheets, leave applications, and conducting performance reviews.
Production Management:
Review and plan cider production on shift, ensuring adherence to specifications and needs through cellar planning tools and MES/SAP.
Achieve production throughput targets, coordinate bulk raw material intake, and ensure adherence to established SOPs/WIs.
Manage quality control on shift, coordinate correction of defects, and ensure accurate capturing of production data on MES/SAP.
Compliance and Asset Management:
Ensure compliance with E2 practices on shift through active coordination of meetings, attending department meetings, and addressing non-conformances.
Manage cost and asset utilization, including capturing production information, conducting plant walkabouts, and minimizing wastage.
Responsible for monthly stocktaking, managing reduction of losses, and ordering consumables to ensure continuity in cider processes.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the use of computer systems, A1 problem-solving, and E2 practices across cellar process areas.
Establish networks with suppliers, service departments, and customers to facilitate problem-solving and enhance collaboration.
