Im a 36 year old female born in Sebokeng, south of Gauteng, South Africa in June 1986. Im the eldest of two daughters in the family. Im currently married with three children, two daughters and a son. Im a proud Sesotho-speaking african, and I’m also fluent in Zulu, English and Afrikaans.
Im currently a final( 5th) year Registrar in Orthopaedics Department at the University of Pretoria. I have been passionately involved in the management of orthopaedic patients since the start of my community service year in 2014.
During my years in speciality training as a registrar if fallen more in-love with the art that is orthopaedics, learning, and furthering my skills through various courses attended, performing specialised procedures on patients such as knee and hip arthroplasty. This has highlighted my love for joint replacement surgery and I would like to venture out into more learning opportunities offered, to improve on my theory and skills on the subject.
Im a passionate, reliable and dependable individual with great people skills and with good work ethic.
I believe in continuas, progressive and consistent learning, at any level of qualification as a surgeon in order to deliver the best, world-class and quality care for our patients at all times.
