I am proficient in multiple editing software, including Premier Pro, Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut Pro 7 & X. Additionally, I am capable of working with South African languages without subtitles and have a proven track record in leading successful projects and events in the film and arts industry.

Festival Director and Event Host, Blouberg Cinema (2019-Present)
As the Festival Director and Event Host for Blouberg Cinema, I have been responsible for organizing and managing a highly successful touring outdoor cinema festival across rural Limpopo. This initiative has brought the magic of cinema to remote communities, reaching a diverse audience of over 10,000 people. My role involves meticulous planning and coordination of film screenings and events, ensuring that each location is well-prepared and the audience has an exceptional experience. I manage all logistics, including transportation of equipment, setup of outdoor screens, and ensuring all technical aspects run smoothly. Additionally, I oversee the budgeting process, securing funding and managing expenditures to ensure financial sustainability. Building and maintaining relationships with sponsors, venues, and local authorities is a crucial part of my responsibilities, ensuring support and cooperation for the festival. My efforts have not only brought entertainment to these communities but have also fostered a greater appreciation for film and storytelling.

Co-Founder and Festival Director, Theater of The Oppressed Festival (2016-Present)
In 2022, I co-founded the Theater of The Oppressed Festival, a rural theater festival dedicated to showcasing powerful productions at various community centers throughout Limpopo. This festival leverages the transformative power of theater to address social issues and inspire change within the communities it serves. My role as Festival Director involves conceptualizing and implementing comprehensive marketing and promotional strategies to attract both participants and audiences. As the Project Manager and Festival Director of the inaugural Limpopo Student Film Festival, I have been instrumental in bringing this exciting new event to life. This festival aims to showcase the work of student filmmakers and provide a platform for emerging talent in the region. My responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the festival’s planning and execution, from selecting and inviting participants to coordinating screenings and workshops. I work closely with educational institutions and industry professionals to ensure the festival provides valuable opportunities for learning and networking. By managing logistics, budgeting, and stakeholder relationships, I ensure that the festival runs smoothly and achieves its objectives of fostering young filmmakers and promoting film education in Limpopo.

In my role as a Training Facilitator at Generic Views Productions, which is provisionally accredited by MICT SETA to provide training in the qualification of Further Education and Training Certificate: Film and Television Production Operations, I have been dedicated to imparting industry-relevant skills and knowledge to aspiring filmmakers. My responsibilities include designing and delivering comprehensive training programs that cover various aspects of film and television production. I facilitate workshops and hands-on training sessions, guiding participants through the intricacies of the production process, from pre-production planning to post-production editing. My goal is to equip trainees with the practical skills and confidence needed to succeed in the film industry.
