Advanced Physics and Mathematics

Mathematics Background
Studied calculus (single/multivariable), vector calculus, differential equations, sequences and series, linear algebra, and complex numbers. Covered abstract algebra (groups, rings, fields), modular arithmetic, mathematical logic and proof techniques. Applications included integration in multiple coordinate systems, vector fields, and transformations in higher dimensions.

Physics Background
Covered classical mechanics, waves, electricity and magnetism, atomic and nuclear physics, modern physics, and quantum mechanics. Topics included Newtonian dynamics, electromagnetism, SHM, circuits, thermodynamic laws, nuclear decay, quantum theory, and relativity. Emphasis on mathematical methods, lab work, and computational physics.

  • Computational model of 2-Dimensional object moving with projectile motion including drag force.
  • Experiment done to determine the gravitational acceleration on an object falling and extracted using mathematical data simulations.
