A dedicated and goal-driven junior Social Scientist in possession of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree in Development Studies and Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSocSci) undergraduate degree in Industrial Sociology and Labour Studies. I possess over five (5) years of cross-functional and relevant professional experience cutting across different industries (Travel & Tourism, Fiduciary as well as Mining). Through my current role as a Social Impact Professional in Training (PIT), I have learnt to gain flexibility amongst competing work-related priorities and take pride in an adherence to strict deadlines and regulatory laws and principles. In essence, my strong work ethic and respect for an organization's governing principles and culture, coupled with the mentioned work experience and academic credentials qualify me as a potential asset to the growth of the organization. In my career development, I have grown a great interest in community development planning; research as well as monitoring and evaluation practices; risk management and compliance; brand and marketing as well as social policy advocacy and formulation.
The Sustainable Impact function seeks to guide the organisation's operations and subsidiaries on what should be implemented in areas of Safety, Health, Environment, Mineral rights management, Mine closure management & rehabilitation (inter alia).
