1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead end-to-end finance function, including daily operations, reporting, and governance.
• Provide outsourced accounting (bookkeeping, reconciliations, payments, and approvals per Cayman regulations).
• Prepare quarterly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and runway analysis.
• Track KPIs, benchmark performance, and present transparency reports to boards/communities.

2. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Oversee KYC/due diligence on grants and financial transactions with the Compliance team.
• Manage banking/custody accounts, ensuring adherence to policies, governance, and best practices.

3. Operations & Process Optimization

• Develop procedures for payments via digital wallets and fiat banking rails.
• Manage KYC/wallet screening to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Provide clients with weekly financial updates, policy reviews, and integrations with service providers.
• Maintain strong relationships with financial providers and ensure high operational standards.
• Utilize tools including QuickBooks, Cryptio, Tres, Canva, Fathom, and Dokka for reporting and analysis.

• -Calculating and preparing individual and company income tax returns IT12, IT14 as well as IT14SD using SARS e-filing including but not limited to the following returns:
• 1. VAT201
• 2. EMP501
• 3. EMP201
• 4. Provisional tax returns
• As a senior accountant, my duties & functions included the following:
• Preparation & submission of Tax returns including IT12, IT14 & IT14SD’s.
• All SARS E-filing submissions (Prov. TAX, VAT201, EMP 501 & 201).
• Preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
• Bank Recons, receipt mapping & VAT allocations.
• Preparing and posting Adjusting journals to trial balance.
• Maintaining Fixed Asset Registers, with depreciation calculation & journals.
• Debtors & Creditors reconciliations.
• Compiling Director Reports, long term loan & installment sale t&c’s.
• Payroll management including UIF, PAYE &RA calculations and submissions.
• Execution of SME reviews & audits.

• -Reporting of leads to sales manager whilst completing studies.
• -Delivery and collection of stock and other items as and when required by the Midbay Group.
• -Local Cape Town demonstration representative for the Midbay Group which entails:
• -Collection and meeting of prospective clients.
• -Liaison between clients and national representatives of the Midbay Group
• Couriering, collection, and processing of necessary paperwork.
