At Kotiem Breeders we farmed with chickens and produced fertelized eggs, I was responsible to give the right vaccinations, do the monitoring every week, ensure that there is no viruses/ sickness on the site and everything is going smoothly in the chicken houses.

When we get a vetinary visit it was also my responsibility to make sure everything is in place.

It was also my responsibility to do the ZA registration for us to export eggs aboard. Also with that responsibility I had to draw up site plans to show where site office, showers, bait stations, silos and water tanks is placed.

My main job was the chickens but, I did a lot of welding work aswell, like fixing silos, feeders and building nestbox stands.

Aswell as fencing, and building drawbars for the fences.

My father had sheep aswell, so I gave him a hand with vaccinations and when it's lamb season.

I did a 3 week wildlife management course at Gameways, and anfter I finished the course I worked for them for about 7-8 months.
