· Develop Skills Development strategies, policies and practices for Momentum Metropolitan that support the business to achieve Skills Development and strategic objectives.
· Analyse the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS) and INSETA Sector Skills Plan (SSP) and collaborate with HR teams to develop plans that address the requirements of the NSDS and SSP.
· Co-create Skills Development guidelines and frameworks with the business.
· Keep abreast of trends, legislation and best practices within the skills development field in order to optimise service delivery.
· Identify opportunities to introduce strategic skills development projects to maximise the Group BBBEE SD scorecard, talent pipeline and evaluate the organisational readiness for the projects.
· Add value by presenting Skills Development insights to the Employment Equity Committee and transformation team to drive key business decisions.
· Strategic partnering of end-to-end BBBEE Verification process.
· Establish and facilitate a Momentum Metropolitan Skills Development Committee to create a platform for discussion and communication for skills development planning and implementation, training priorities and focus areas.
· Compile annual Group Workplace Skills Plan (WSP), Pivotal Plan and Annual Training Report for Group Momentum Metropolitan to INSETA.
· Compiling funding motivations to the INSETA where discretionary funds allocated are inadequate.
· Utilise insights from reporting to make recommendations to improve the development and implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan.
· Develop and Monitor Divisional/Cluster Scorecard – rolling up to Group
· Managing B-BBEE verification process for Group SD by supporting the collation of valid, accurate and complete data or evidence during the B-BBEE verification process.
· Determine an appropriate skills audit system to identify the skills needs of the business and support the execution thereof.
· Performing quarterly audits of the Skills Development Portfolio e,g: tracking the implementation of Momentum Metropolitan's WSP.
· Identify and highlight Skills Development risks with relevant stakeholders and identify risk mitigation strategies.
· Assisting with the development and monitoring/governance of Skills Development processes and L&D Policies.
· Facilitate the vendor management and accreditation process for service providers and internal training programmes.
· Quality Assure adherence to INSETA processes and requirements.
· Alignment of BBBEE SD Scorecard to Employment Equity targets.
· Ensure accurate capturing of skills data and drive adoption of Skills Development Reporting Tools.
· Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.
