I am a Hip Hop recording artist, songwriter, producer and composer publicly known as "Cairo Clarendon. My passion for music provided me the opportunity to be mentored by the likes of "Louis Lunch", who is a prominent figure within the Broken Beat House and Amapiano scene in South Africa, and Konstant De Vos, a critically acclaimed sound engineer throughout Africa. With their guidance I was able to constantly improve the quality of not only my music but also the music of many others. Through consistent practice, I strive to always find a way to push the envelope in terms of quality recordings and mixing regardless of the amount of resources that are available, this allows me to help others who don't have the knowledge nor the resources to execute their visions while also practicing empathy with sincere understanding of their circumstances. Throughout my career I have performed at events and venues such as Black Labone (with full band), Kulcha Sundays, Kitcheners, NewsCafe, etc.
