• Volunteer to teach English online at 'Wings Of Change' which is a non-profit organization founded by Afsana Amarys, chair of the Harvard Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program
• Wings Of Change provides stimulating and interactive English lessons to students from disadvantage backgrounds in Madagascar
• Digital classroom consists of 30-40 students ages 18 -26 years old
• Leverage various digital tools such as zoom, power point, goggle docs and much more to ensure engaging lessons for my students
• My main responsibilities include the following: preparing engaging lesson plans, delivering lessons targeted to improve the reading, writing and conversational skills of students, monitor and report the progress of students as well as compose homework activities, grading keys and other supplementary materials.
• Gently corrected student pronunciation and grammar to improve conversation skills.
• Boosted student confidence through tailored feedback and individualized support in areas of improvement.

Learned a lot in this role in terms of the education system and how best to approach younger students when teaching by being exposed to children of the ages 5 months up until 7 years including children with conditions that make learning more challenging, such autism

• Assist with the comprehension of English language emphasizing on vocabulary and enunciation of the functional language

• Teach all aspects of English to Chinese students K-12 with an emphasis on reading and writing courses. The 'National Geographic Greater Writing' and 'Write Source by Houghton Mifflin' are the materials that are utilized to ensure a stimulating writing lesson for the student. In terms of the reading courses the 'National Geographic Reach Higher and Reading Explorer' are the respective curriculums used to ensure the students grasp and enjoy the content taught in the lesson.
