Conduct comprehensive research on Material Items requested where necessary before a new Material number is generated. (i.e product category, product description, material type, material group and any additional information. Resolve queries received. Research reason for price discrepancies taking into consideration main pricelist, correct supplier, correct code and discount tariffs. Provide assistance to hospitals regarding system queries and suggested changes requested as necessary. Maintain Material Items with regards to product indicators and categories on system requirements relating to final cost allocations. Evaluate new product codes for accuracy and completeness by checking pricing, catalogue numbers, product descriptions, pack sizes, and product categories as well as classification. Ensure catalogue pricing is up to date. Monitor price discrepancies requests in accordance with supplier agreement and coordinate changes where necessary.
