Mayauri Chetty

I am a full-time student in the final year of my Bachelor Business Science degree at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal Westville. My majors are Finance and Statistics as I enjoy working with numbers to analyze and predict future market prices. I had Dean's commendation for 2 semesters. I have completed my ICDL Course (Computer Literacy) in 2014. A personal goal of mine is to travel to various countries and experience different cultures. This ties in closely with my professional goals as I will be doing my CFA qualification after my degree that allows me to work anywhere in the world. ICDL (Microsoft Office)

• Volunteer and Leadership Chatsworth Child and Family Welfare - worked in the admin office.
• Quarterly visits to Umbumbulu - assist in the medical clinic.
• Project pets- to walk the dogs.
• RK Khan Hospital- Sunday mornings to help the nurses distribute breakfast. I am also a part of making Christmas decorations to decorate their hospital during Christmas.
• Pop up store- assisted to organise a pop store for the less fortunate, this is a store where they are able to pick out their own clothes for free.
• School initiative- pampered the women from The Aryan Benevolent Homes in Chatsworth during May 2017.
• On Saturday mornings, I volunteered at the Bayview Library in Unit 2, Chatsworth to assist learners from the informal settlement Manyleni, to read and play chess- ORCA (Organisation that assists indignant learners to promote reading at the Bayview Library, Chatsworth)
• I attended a leadership course at White Mountain Lodge in 2015.
• I was part of a group project, this was were we had to present a business proposal to a panel of adjudicators (consisted of investors and lecturers). I was in the CEO team that helped lead our team to winning.
